FIREPROOF GLAZING WINDOWS
Fire-rated windows are the combination of fire-rated glass and frames. The windows hold enough time against fire hazards in buildings. They can withstand high temperatures and prevent the spread of flames and smoke. These windows are an essential feature in buildings where fire safety is concerned, including commercial buildings, hospitals, schools, high-rise apartments, etc. Fire-rated windows are necessary for many buildings according to the local building laws, codes and regulations in different countries to ensure buildings are constructed with appropriate fire safety measures. So fire-rated windows play a crucial role in protecting people and property from the devastating effects of fires.

AGC PYROBELITE
Laminated glasses assembled with clear intumescent interlayers that meet the Integrity and Low Radiation criteria (EW) or the Integrity and Insulation criteria (EI). In the event of a fire, the interlayers will expand and transform themselves into a rigid, opaque and?heat absorbing fire shield.
Safety
- Fire Resistance classes E30, E60, EW 30 en EW 60, EWef 120 en EIef 45, EI 15, EI 30, EI45, EI 60, EI 90, EI 120
- Standard Symetrical Fire Resistance
- Safetyglass following EN 12600 (3B3, 2B2 of 1B1 according to product type) in double glazing can be combined with laminated or tempered glass
Design options
- Available as single internal glazing, single glazing with UV filter (EC-type) and as double glazing in combination with any other product of AGC glass
- Can be layered and doubled with the decorative, burglar and bullet range of AGC in single or double glass
- Available in Clear Vision (extra clear glass)
PILKINGTON PYROSTOP
A clear multi-laminated fire-resistant glass which both retains its integrity and insulates against all heat transfer from fire.
Pilkington Pyrostop
- Highly successful intumescent technology
- Forms opaque and robust insulating barrier against heat, flames and fumes
- A sodium silicate interlayer (therefore not liable to flame or smoke on non-fire side)
- Classes 30, 60, 90, 120 and 180 minutes insulation & integrity (EI)
- Impact safety up to class 1(B)1(1)
- Good visual and optical quality
VETROTECH KERALITE
Fire-rated glass-ceramic with high impact resistance for protective applications
Keralite Select fire-rated glass ceramic products are available with film or laminate for accidental human impact safety protection. Safety film applied to the surface provides a cost effective and light-weight fire-protective glazing solution. Laminating Keralite adds durability and sound reduction and is an ideal solution for high traffic areas. Both Keralite and Keralite Select, either in filmed or laminated safety glazing variants, can be a solution for fire doors, transoms and sidelights.
- 3/16" (filmed) or 5/16" (laminated) thickness
- Impact safety rating ( CPSC 16CFR 1201-CAT II, CAN/CGSB - 12.1-M90, ANSI Z97.1 )
- Visible light transmission values (VLT) of up to 85%
- Sound transmission class values (STC) up to 34(laminated)
- Translucent and opaque privacy laminate (Keralite Privacy) available
- LCA, UL listed EPDs and HPD 2.0 documents available
